Welcome to Shubham’s Carpentry Services. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our professional woodworking and carpentry services. By engaging our services, you accept these terms in full. Do not continue to use Shubham’s Carpentry Services if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Service Provision
- Project Scope: We provide custom woodworking, furniture design, and general carpentry services. The specific scope of work will be defined in a separate written estimate or project agreement.
- Materials: Unless otherwise stated, the cost of wood, hardware, and finishing supplies will be included in the total project estimate.
- Changes: Any changes to the design or scope of work after the project has commenced may result in additional charges and timeline extensions.
Payments and Deposits
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50%) is required before work begins to secure materials and scheduling.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due immediately upon the completion of the project and your final inspection.
- Late Fees: We reserve the right to charge late fees for payments not received within 7 days of the invoice date.
Client Responsibilities
- Access: The client must provide a safe and clear workspace for any on-site installations or repairs.
- Approvals: For custom furniture, the client is responsible for reviewing and approving final measurements and designs before construction starts.
Workmanship and Warranty
- Natural Materials: Wood is a natural product. Minor variations in grain, color, and texture are to be expected and are not considered defects.
- Warranty: We provide a 1-year warranty on structural workmanship. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, extreme environmental conditions (e.g., excessive humidity/dryness), or normal wear and tear.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, Shubham’s Carpentry Services retains the right to use photographs of completed projects for marketing, social media, and portfolio purposes. We will never share your personal address or private details in these materials.
Limitation of Liability
Shubham’s Carpentry Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services beyond the total contract value.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate a project if the working environment is deemed unsafe or if the terms of the agreement are breached. In such cases, the client will be billed for work completed up to that date.
